Call for Proposals extended until 21st January 2018 for Second International ECSA Conference 2018 in Geneva / Switzerland

Dear ECSA Community,

We are focusing the Second International ECSA Conference 2018 on the citizen. Why do citizens collaborate? What is their motivation to volunteer? Do they develop a deeper interest and engagement in science? Do they have suggestions for improving collaborations? These and other questions will be at the heart of our next conference.

We are organizing an event next summer in Geneva that provides an opportunity to meet and talk to each other, to share personal opinions, stories and experiences. Let’s listen to each other and learn about other viewpoints.

From now on we invite you to submit your proposals for the Second International ECSA conference, taking place from June 3rd to June 5th 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. The Conference Committee welcomes your proposals until 21st January 2018.

You will find all information on the conference and the call for proposals on our new website. All submissions should be made via the online form

The conference is hosted in 2018 for ECSA by the Foundation Science et Cité and by the local support of the University of Geneva.

We are looking forward to your inspiring inputs!

With kind regards,

The ECSA Conference Team 2018

PS. Please note that our conference will take place in the same week as the ECSITE conference of the European network of science centres and museums (from June 7th to 9th) – if you are interested in both conferences you have to travel only once! Don’t worry, you can find cheap accommodations in Geneva, from camping to private rooms to little hotels!
