From February 1st to 3rd 2018, the Austrian Citizen Science Conference takes place in Salzburg, Austria.

Under the motto "Generation Citizen Science", Citizen Science projects and initiatives will be presented and their results and plans as well as challenges and problems will be discussed.

The main focus will be on the framework conditions and the prerequisites for creating a generation of Citizen Scientists. A generation, which engages daily in scientific projects ...

Challenges as well as potentials, which the generation of Citizen Science engages with, will be presented and discussed at the conference as well as current project reports, which should enable an exchange of experience.

The organizers of the upcoming conference in 2018 are the Contact Point for Citizen Science at the University of Salzburg in cooperation with "Österreich forscht", "Schweiz forscht", "Bürger schaffen Wissen" and the Center for Citizen Science.
