How are you performing research on Citizen Science, taking part in Citizen Science activities and/or supporting Citizen Science?:
I try to design and implement a revolutionary Citizen Science program that aims to tackle wildfire monitoring by decentralizing it with the help of the citizens. Check here for a sample https://cesiumjs.org/demos/Citisens.html

Brief description of project:
The sources of wildfire line information, such as remote satellites, in-field sensors and social media texts, exhibit by definition either low spatial/temporal resolution or difficulties in widespread applicability. In my PhD dissertation I develop new methods that utilize the sensors of today’s mobile devices in order to calculate the coordinates of the actual fire line when citizens are targeting it through their devices. Furthermore, I aim to introduce a novel wildfire Dynamic Data Driven Assimilation System (DDDAS) which will consume the reports from the citizens in order to offer accurate wildfire prediction.
